"TO PLANT A SEED IS TO BELIEVE IN TOMORROW." - Katherine Hepburn
We are not a typical florist or store but there are multiple ways to buy our flowers or experience Posies. We lovingly grow our flowers with organic methods and have different ways to share them with you.
We sell buckets of flowers/fillers for weddings and events, we sell to local florists and have CSA memberships with weekly bouquets of fresh local flowers for our members. Our flower stand is open Thursday through Sunday at the end of our road during season on the honor system. I restock as necessary until sold out.
We gladly accept special orders for local delivery during our growing season from Mother's day through the first frost in October.
This summer I will host our first Thursday evening
DIY Bouquet Bar on our porch. Probably late summer. I will post updates on my social media.
I also want to try a pick your own in the fields this August/September. Would you be interested in a private catered pick your own event? Please let me know!
Check our Instagram/FB FMI and updates.
We are a family owned micro flower farm in Falmouth, Maine. We use organic methods in addition to our soil, pest and irrigation management systems.
Our flowers are fresh, lovingly grown and local. Not something shipped thousands of miles.
In addition to selling our flowers as mentioned above, we have a big spring/early summer plant sale - selling dahlias, perennials, annuals, veggie and herb seedlings. We also sell seeds that grow well in our short New England growing season and dahlia tubers from our Etsy shop during the fall/winter months.
Because early mornings and evenings are when I lose track of time among the flowers. Working outside is where I find peace - except with the ground hogs, earwigs, slugs and deer... Ugh
I became a Master Gardener 20ish years ago after finishing my fine arts degree in photography. Since then I've studied Graphic Design, baking and cooking. I'm a mom, a wife and now a farm girl. It's a perfect combination of everything I love.
We love our beneficial insects, birds and wildlife. We invite them here and are a Certified Wildlife Habitat (although I have a love hate relationship with some of them :) Our honey bee hives are nestled among the white pines and the birdsongs. And frog songs.
